Hotel Security Is It Safe To Live In Luxury

Or People Who Like Going Out Of Town Or Out Of Country, Whether It Be For Business Or Pleasure, There Is Nothing Like Staying At A Hotel To Get Some Relaxation. Hotels Provide The Comforts Of Home And So Much More At The Mere Press Of A Button. It Gives Us The Cuisine, Lodging, And Comfort That We Need, But How About Safety? How Safe Are We With The Present Measures Of Hotel Security? Before, When You Step In A Hotel, You Could Just Forego Talking To The Receptionist Should You Know What Room Someone Is Located In, You Could Ask The Receptionist What Room, Floor Number, And If A Guest Is In. You Could Get Easily A Spare Key To Your Room By Saying You Forgot Your Key Inside. But Hotel Security Has Changed Now. But What Prompted This?Several Years Ago In The US, A Guest Was Bludgeoned To Death After A Man Who Was Posing As A Hotel Handyman Robbed What He Thought To Be An Empty Room. The Guest Came Out Of The Bathroom After Hearing Rummaging Noises In The Main Room. At The Surprise Of Someone In The Room, The Intruder Raised His Props Of Tools And Proceeded To Hammer Blows To The Guest Until She Was Unable To Move And Was Left To Bleed To Death. This Was Just One Event That Hotel Security Failed At.Robbery Seems To Be The Biggest Crime That Goes Under The Radar Of Hotel Security With The Criminals Ranging From Cleaning Staff To Posers To Guests. These Seemingly Minor Acts Occurred One Too Many To Just Be Over-looked. Perhaps That Is Why Hotels Made Adjustments To Their Hotel Security, Making It Harder For People To Just Come And Go.The Focal Point Of Most Hotel Security Lies With The Receptionist And The Elevator. It Is Now Mandatory For Visitors To Talk To The Receptionists To Ask For Information About Guests. Visitors Are Not Given Any Information Unless A Guest Has Informed The Receptionist That He Is Expecting A Visitor. Visitors Must Also Present An ID Confirming That They Are Who They Say They Are. Once That Is Done, The Guest Is Called Down By The Receptionist Informing Him That His Visitor Has Arrived And Can Either Be Picked Up By The Guest At The Lobby Or Escorted Up By A Bellhop. Why? The Some Hotel Security Has Made Their Elevators Key-activated. It Would Not Move Or Open Without The Same Key Used By Hotel Guests To Open Their Rooms.
